Bio

I'm a lesbian. I'm in the closet. I'm beginning this journal to have somewhere to record and reflect upon the events in my life that are often affected by the fact that I am gay. Mainly, it will be about the relationship between my partner's mother and me.

My partner and I are both in our mid 20's and in the closet because of our professions. I hate the fact that, professionally, I only have 2 choices in regards to my being 'out'. The first is to not hide the fact and be fired. The second is to remain hidden, not be all of who I am, and continue to serve in a wonderful and fulfilling profession. I'm a teacher.
